Terms of Use

Effective 16 August 2026 · Privacy Policy

These terms are an agreement between you and Betalaunch (“Betalaunch”, “we”, “us”). They cover the Betalaunch app for iPhone and iPad, the apps you build with it, the website at betalaunch.app, and related services (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What Betalaunch is

Betalaunch lets you describe an app in plain language and have it built and run inside Betalaunch. Apps you build are interpreted by Betalaunch from a description it stores for you; they are not standalone software you can export or run elsewhere. Betalaunch is offered as it is today and changes over time — features may be added, changed or removed.

2. Your account

You need an account (Google sign-in or an email address and password). You must be at least 13, or the age of digital consent where you live if that is higher, and you are responsible for what happens under your account. Keep your password to yourself and tell us if you think someone else is using your account.

3. Your content and your apps

What you put into Betalaunch — descriptions, records, photos, voice clips, messages, and the apps built from them — is yours. You give us the permission we need to store, process and display it in order to run the Service for you and for people you share with. We do not claim ownership of your apps or your data.

When you invite someone into an app (“Use together”), they can read and write that app’s data as its rules allow; when you send someone a copy, it becomes their own. You are responsible for who you invite and what you share. Private rooms are visible only to the people named in them; the account that owns an app still holds its data.

You must have the right to upload what you upload. Do not use the Service to store or share content that is illegal, infringes someone’s rights, is sexual content involving minors, harasses or threatens people, or is intended to deceive. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

4. AI-generated content

Betalaunch uses machine-learning models to build apps from your descriptions and, when you ask, to generate text or images inside your apps. Generated output can be wrong, biased or unsuitable. Review it before you rely on it. You are responsible for how you use it. Descriptions and inputs you provide may be processed by third-party model providers to produce that output; see the Privacy Policy.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

6. Home Screen icons and device access

Adding an app to your Home Screen installs a configuration profile on your device containing only that icon and its link; you can remove it at any time from the icon or from Settings. Some features ask for device permissions (camera, photos, microphone, location, notifications) — they are used only for the feature you asked for and only after you allow them.

7. Fees

Betalaunch is currently free to use. If we introduce paid plans we will say so clearly, and any purchase through the App Store is governed by Apple’s terms as well.

8. Ending things

You can stop using the Service any time and delete your apps from within it. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we discontinue the Service; if we discontinue it we will try to give reasonable notice. Sections that by their nature should survive (your content, disclaimers, limits) do.

9. Disclaimers and limits

The Service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that your data can never be lost — keep copies of anything you cannot afford to lose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Betalaunch is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim and fifty US dollars. Some places do not allow some of these limits; where that is so, they apply only as far as the law permits.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will show it in the app or on the site before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes belong to the courts located there, unless the law where you live gives you rights that cannot be waived. Questions about these terms: the Betalaunch discussion group.
